EKATERINA FROLOV

I received my Masters degree in Engineering of Biomedical Devices in Moscow, Russia. After graduation I worked as a Manufacturing and Process Technology Engineer at the Boeing Company. After three years working in aircraft, I decided to try myself in science. I switched my career to a stem cell biology. I completed the Stem Cell Technology Program at the City College of San Francisco and accepted an offer to work at the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease.

I obtained hands-on experience in the biotech research field. I am a creative thinker and I often come up with ideas to optimize day-to-day work and life. I love to collaborate with other people and I am open to their ideas. I find it more efficient to work on solutions together. My engineering background and 3D design skills allow me to envision possible designs. I prototype, print and give experimental use to my inventions. I work on design improvements until other users and I are completely satisfied. It is an innovative, challenging and extremely exciting process.

I design with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SketchUp, Onshape. While finishing my Computer Aided Drafting Certificate program at the City College of San Francisco I keep working on my 3D designs.
